Paul Ryan - Director

Paul has over 20 years experience in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of energy efficiency and carbon reduction programs and policies in Australia and internationally.

Paul has particular expertise and experience in the following:

• Technical assessment of the feasibility and advantage of engineering solutions to improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions.

• Forecasting, modelling and data analysis of the physical and financial impacts of the energy efficiency initiatives, regulations and programs.

• Energy efficiency program design, development and evaluation in the private and public sectors

• Database and software design for data analysis and program support

• Stakeholder and industry consultation

Paul has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) and is a member International Association for Energy Economics, the Institute of Engineers Australia, the Australian Institute of Energy, the Australian New Zealand Solar Energy Society.

Murray Pavia - Director

Murray has fifteen years experience in the research, development, marketing and evaluation of energy efficiency and carbon reduction programs and policies.

Murray has particular interest and expertise in:

• Economic analysis and market research in determining the technical and market potential of energy and energy efficiency policies, products and programs
• Market modelling and forecasting of the impacts of the energy efficiency initiatives, regulations and programs
• Policy and program measurement and evaluation
• Program management support; including marketing strategies, communications, web tools, data requirements and management processes
• Stakeholder and industry consultation

Murray has undertaken consulting assignments throughout Australia, Asia and in New Zealand. His background is in economics, psychology and statistics and he has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), a Masters of Science and Masters of Business Administration. He is a member of the International Association for Energy Economics and the Australian Market and Social Research Association.

Dr. Shahab Qureshi

Shahab has over fifteen years of experience in demand management and energy efficiency policies and programs, and in energy market development.

Shahab has particular expertise and experience in the following:

• Demand management program and policy design and implementation
• Network load forecasting and analysis
• Energy market behaviour and price research
• Energy efficiency program design, development and evaluation in the private and public sectors
• Energy efficiency technologies and energy auditing
• Data modelling and analysis
• Project management and implementation in Asia and the Middle East; including experience in Vietnam, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, the Philippines and Saudi Arabia.

Shahab has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) and a Doctorate in Energy and Demand-side Management. He is a member of the International Association for Energy Economics.
